Strategies Group Acquires Bangert Computer Systems Inc.’s Acumatica Practice
Strategies Group acquires Bangert Computer Systems Inc.’s Acumatica practice to strengthen its client roster and double its technical staff.
[Atlanta, Georgia, September 15, 2022]. Strategies Group, Inc., a construction technology firm and Acumatica value-added reseller, has acquired Bangert Computer Systems Inc.’s Acumatica practice. The move to acquire Bangert’s Acumatica Practice first started after the Bangert team made the decision to focus on their Sage business and wanted to leave their Acumatica clients in practiced hands. The deal was signed on September 6, 2022.
“When the Bangert team reached out to us to discuss an acquisition of their Acumatica clients, it was a no brainer. Kurt and his team have a desire to focus on their Sage business and did not want to leave their Acumatica clients without great support,” said Randy Collins, CEO at Strategies Group. “I have personally known and respected Kurt and the Bangert team for close to 30 years. Their core values and ours align, so I knew that we would be able to continue providing great support and services to their Acumatica team.”
The acquisition of Bangert’s Acumatica practice fits into Strategies Group’s strategy to assist businesses in the built world to identify and implement software products and services to become more efficient and more profitable.
“After almost thirty years in business and over 2,500 software implementations for multiple products, Strategies Group decided to focus on one product, Acumatica in 2018. We have developed a practice with expertise in both construction and manufacturing, two of the areas we feel Acumatica excels in. By purchasing the Acumatica practice, Strategies Group will not only be able to bring in highly skilled Acumatica consultants to continue to provide our customers with excellent service, but also be able to strengthen the Strategies Group customer ecosystem. The current Bangert customers acquired will be serviced by a firm dedicated solely to one ERP system, Acumatica. In turn our team will strengthen our Acumatica and be able to double our technical staff.
